soft things,
done simply.

plumo is a productivity app built around care, not pressure. no streaks, no guilt-tripping notifications — just a friendly blob helping you through the small, quiet work of a day.

free forever for one person · in soft launch · no credit card

loved by people who read three books at once,
leave drafts open in twelve tabs, and occasionally remember to drink water.

what is plumo

a productivity app that doesn't act like one.

most tools push you. plumo sits beside you. three small ideas, held together by a friendly blob — and one bigger one, for when you bring a team.

gentle to-do lists

tasks that don't shame you for not finishing. no red flags, no overdue banners, no little scarlet numbers staring at you all day.

you're allowed to carry things forward →

rest mode built in

one tap and the app steps back. notifications quiet, the blob goes to sleep, and you're reminded it's okay to stop for a while.

a pause is a feature →

no pressure, no pomodoros

no streaks to break, no timers to race. tasks aren't graded. you aren't graded. plumo is a companion, not a coach.

soft beats loud →
when you bring a team

a real PM tool. dressed gently.

underneath the soft voice is a complete project management system — sprints, backlogs, time tracking, resource planning, dashboards. and a first-class MCP integration so your AI assistants can read and act on plumo directly.

  • sprints & backlogs, without the shouting
  • time tracked gently, never surveilled
  • resource planning that respects rest
  • MCP server — your AI speaks plumo
  • quiet dashboards, awareness not surveillance
  • linear, slack, github, google calendar

how it works

a day with plumo, in three soft moves.

open it. use it. put it down. nothing about this is complicated — that's sort of the point.

step 01

say hi

jot down the small things you'd like to do today. no categories, no priorities, no "projects" — just a list, in your own words.

step 02

do what you can

cross off what felt good. skip what didn't. the app doesn't care about your completion rate, and neither should you.

step 03

rest, then repeat

when you're done — or just tired — flip on rest mode. plumo quiets down, says goodnight, and meets you again tomorrow.

the app

this is plumo, in the wild.

a quick peek at a typical tuesday. go on — click a task, flip on rest mode. it's a real preview, not a screenshot.

what early plumo feels like.

"the first app i didn't uninstall after a week. it just sits there, helpfully. i didn't know that was possible."

a writer in lisbon

"we run sprints in plumo without saying the word 'sprint' to each other. it's lovely. the work still gets done."

a design lead at a small studio

"the blob noticed i was overworking and turned itself off. i didn't know an app was allowed to do that."

things people often wonder.

is plumo really free?
yes — for one person, forever. the paid tiers are for teams and orgs. individual use has every core feature, no gated walls, no trial clock ticking.
is this just todoist with a mascot?
no, and we hear that question a lot. underneath the soft voice, plumo is a complete project management system: sprints, backlogs, issues with sub-issues, time tracking, resource planning, dashboards. the blob and the gentleness are on purpose — they're how the tool tries to be kind, not what it actually does. see plumo for teams →
can ai assistants drive plumo?
yes — and this is one of plumo's real moats. we ship a first-class MCP server, so claude, your custom agents, and other AI assistants can read your projects, add issues, log time, and run sprint operations on your behalf. see the MCP integration →
can i use plumo with my team?
yes. teams of 2 to a few dozen run their work in plumo every day — sprints, backlogs, resource planning, the whole structure — all dressed in the gentle voice. see how teams use plumo →
what data do you collect?
the minimum we need to run the app — your email, your tasks, your team's activity. no behavioral profiles, no third-party trackers, no ad networks. your data is yours, always exportable. read the trust page →
where is my data stored?
aws eu (frankfurt) by default. enterprise customers can request other regions including france and the wider EU/MENA. encrypted at rest with AES-256, in transit with TLS 1.3. all the details →
what happens if i don't open plumo for a month?
nothing. it waits. no nudge emails, no "we miss you" notifications, no streak to lose. your tasks are where you left them. the blob takes a nap.
how is plumo different from linear / jira / asana?
linear is built for speed. jira is built for configurability. plumo is built for sustainability. same primitives — sprints, issues, time — different posture. nothing here is trying to make you "10x." we'd rather you log off on time.
can i export my tasks and projects?
yes — anytime, to JSON or CSV, with one click. your data is yours. if you ever leave, plumo doesn't hold it hostage.
does plumo work offline?
read-only offline today; full offline editing is in the works for the native mac and iphone apps. when you reconnect, plumo syncs quietly in the background.
do i need an account to try it?
just an email. no profile pictures, no "what best describes you?" onboarding quiz. plumo remembers your tasks and preferences, and that's about all it wants to know.
who built plumo, and why?
a small team in tunisia and france who'd been burned by louder productivity apps and wanted to build something kinder. read our story →
